Many Language Service Companies (LSCs) are not held in high regard by the linguists who work for them. LSCs who grind through large volumes of work with a focus only on maximizing revenue tend to have higher turnover in their linguist pool, and they expect that as a cost of doing business. In many cases, they look for the absolute lowest-cost linguist to maximize their profit margin.
At GLTaC, we take a different approach and build long-term relationships with our linguists because they form the basis for our reputation. Our linguists are carefully screened for technical and regulatory knowledge before we begin working with them. From the start, this sets us apart and lets the linguist know we are setting the bar higher when it comes to doing the translation correctly and according to the correct regulations.
